Insurance will cover a portion of the cost of this pump, but you will be liable for the remainder of the upgrade charge. The rechargeable battery in this portable breast pump is NOT covered by insurance. The integrated rechargeable battery allows you to pump whenever you need to, rather than only when an outlet is around. Standard breast pump models come with an AC wall adapter to power the breast pump.
